Join Hands to Help Poor Students in Winter
First Phase of Quilt Distribution Among Poor Students

South Asian Pulse Forum in coordination with Anjuman Faizul Islam Rawalpindi distributed warm polyester quilt gifts among 300 poor and orphan students at Ghulam Qadir Ghubbar Hall, Faizabad Rawalpindi. As a matter of fact, Sapulse Forum’s organizational teams prepared a list of 500 poor, orphan and special students, however, due to shortage of funds, 300 most deserving students were accommodated. In fact, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah`s vision for poverty alleviation was the moving factor for arranging this august gathering on 30 Dec, 2016, at Anjman Faizul Islam, an organization inaugurated by Quaid-i-Azam in 1944. Dr. Ghulam Akbar Niazi Chairman ID&MC chaired the proceedings, while Mr. Akram Zaki former Senator and Secretary General Foreign Office was the Chief Guest. Mr. Fateh M. Chaudhri former Senior Adviser World Bank, Mian Siddique Akbar President Anjuman Faizul Islam, and Rana Abdul Baqi Chairman Sapulse Forum attended as Special Guests. With a view to educate the Students (both boys and girls), all the prominent guests spoke on different aspects of Muhammad Ali Jinnah`s vision for making Pakistan a welfare state. A good number of prominent citizens (both men and women) including doctors, professors, teachers, writers, columnists, businessmen, and men of letters attended the dialogue and joined hands in distributing warm quilts amongst deserving poor and orphan students. Prominent poet Nasim Sehar read out a goodwill message specifically sent for the occasion by the prominent nuclear scientist “Mohsin e Pakistan” Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, appreciating the selfless efforts of Sapulse Forum and Anjuman Faizul Islam for the cause of poverty alleviation. Arslan Akbar Abbasi Advocate conducted “Ijtemai Dua”. Arif Nannan presented “Qaseeda Burda Sharif”, while students of Anjuman Faiz ul Islam presented National Anthem and recited famous poem of Allama Iqbal. Prominent writer and Secretary of Rotery Club Islamabad conducted the proceedings of the dialogue on Quaid-i-Azam. Later all prominent citizens (both Men & Women) and guests of honour joined hands to distribute warm quilts among deserving students. Since, all the students listed could not be accommodated therefore Sapulse Forum shall organize the second phase next month to accommodate the remaining students, if sufficient funds are received from friends and relatives. You may join hands for the cause of poverty alleviation. Jazak Allah Khair.
