Human Rights Society of Pakistan condemns atrocities in Rohingya - BY: A. M. Shakoori

The Human Rights Society of Pakistan finds it unfortunate that the Noble laureate Aung Sun Suu Kyi of Myanmar in case of atrocities and crime against humanities inflicted on Rohingyan muslims in Myanmar has shown religious bias because Rohingyans are Muslims and not Buddhists who have perpetrated the crime.

Besides being a Noble laureate Malala Yousafzai, is also a human rights awardee, given to her by Human Rights Society of Pakistan, has raised a chorus of agitation against the ill treatment, human rights violation and genocide of Rohingyas. We welcome her campaign.

Human Rights Society of Pakistan under the President ship of Syed Asim Zafar passed a resolution that the Swedish Board of awardees for Noble Prize in Stockholm be sent a letter that the award given to Aung Sun Suu Kyi leader of Myanmar be withdrawn. Copy of the same letter has been sent to the Embassy Myanmar in Islamabad.

Human Rights Society further condemns the genocide of Rohingyas in Myanmar and hopes that the Muslim countries will in the meantime give them refuge and shelter in their countries.
