Marking their Intelligence

June 6, 2009: Brain of Rawalpindi/Islamabad Quiz Competition 2009 was organized in association with Cultural and Sports Wing of Jang Group, Rawalpindi on Saturday, June 06, 2009 at Tameer-e-Millat City of Education, Fateh Jang, Attock. The aim was to connect our students in an interactive and healthy quiz competition to promote the importance of Pakistan Movement (1900- 1947) by challenging them on facts and knowledge about History of Pakistan.


Mr. Aziz Sheikh from Jang Group hosted the Quiz competition while Ibrahim Abbasi, Principal, Tameer-e-Millat School of Excellence performed his duties as stage secretary.

In total 40 schools were registered for the competition. Out of which, eight groups were made, having five teams each. The qualified teams of Round I competed in the Round II.


Qazi Manzoor Hussain, Principal, TM Institute of Teachers’ Development and Javed Iqbal Raja, Principal, F.G. Boys High School, Islamabad were the judges. The competition was presided over by Mirza Habibullah, Vice President Admin, TMF. Raja Mukhtar Ahmad, District Education Officer-Secondary, District Attock was the Chief Guest of the occasion.

Ayesha Ishaq and Bushra Khalid from F.G. Girls Model School, Model Town Humak, Islamabad got first prize in the quiz competition and were awarded Brain of Rawalpindi/ Islamabad.

Sadia Liaquat and Maliha Rafiq from Sultana Foundation Girls High School, Islamabad got second prize whereas Maham Khalid and Kashaf-ul-Eman from Fazaia Inter College, Chaklala, Rawalpindi got third prize in the quiz competition.

Winners were awarded with shields and cash prizes
